Mediation

From landlord/tenant issues to disputes between friends, or a claim against a company, mediation can be a faster and less costly way of resolving disputes.

 

Mediation is a method of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) that allows parties to settle disputes outside of the presence of the court. It is a voluntary process to aid parties to come to an agreement that satisfies all sides.Mediations are confidential, and what is said in mediation may not be presented in court by either party. 

 

Disputes in mediation my range from property fencing disagreements, repayment of debts, and custody arrangements. Parties come to a voluntary agreement together with the mediator. Parties may be pro se (representing themselves) or represented by an attorney. Katlyn A. Andolina completed the California 30-Hour Basic Mediation Training and is a skilled mediator, having performed mediations in a wide variety of cases.
